REVIEW - Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling

Title: Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me
Author: Mindy Kaling
Publisher: Three Rivers Press
Release Date: 18th September 2012
Source: My Own Copy - Amazon

Mindy Kaling has lived many lives: comedienne, actress, obedient child of immigrant professionals and, now, writer.

With a blend of witty confessions and unscientific observations, Mindy writes about everything from being a timid young chubster afraid of her own bike to living the Hollywood life, dating, friendships and planning her own funeral – all executed with several conveniently placed stopping points for you to run errands and make phone calls.

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few years, you have hopefully heard of Mindy Kaling.

You may have even seen her in action, starring in the fabulous Mindy Project or maybe you saw her in The US Office or maybe you remember her playing Paul Rudd's ex in the 40 Year Old Virgin.

Mindy to me, is just awesome, I love her style, her humour and this book! This book is wonderful and take a word of advice from me, read it alone! Why? To save face just in case you pee yourself laughing in public.

Is Everyone Hanging Out.....charts her life from chubby kid with some awesome jumpers to comedy star extraordinaire and everything in between. She takes us through all her ups and downs from starting in out in the big city bribing her charges whilst being a babysitter, a possible case of sexual harassment and of course Matt & Ben which gave her a massive break.

She has an opinion on everything from food and fashion to full blown revenge fantasies she has came up whilst jogging, and she does this all whilst being incredibly down to earth and self-depreciating.

Mindy is one of these girls that you would really love to be friends with and I am so excited because she has another book coming out soon too called Why Not Me!?

Funny, fabulous, five stars!
