The Sunday Post #13 - 16th August 2015

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I'm gonna recap my week and give you an idea of what I have coming up plus anything else newsworthy!

Hey everybody! Hope you are all fine and dandy!

My week has been very quiet at home but busy at work (which does make the day go quick).

My girls go back to school next week, for me it cannot come soon enough for me and my nerves! There has been a lot of under the breath swearing as they push my buttons, the little darlings!!

Today was spent buying the last of their school clothes and as a treat we took them to finally see Inside Out.

It was brilliant, it totally made me all emotional and it just ticked all my boxes and not only that, Lava the supporting feature was just beautiful. Pixar have done it again, they are amazing.

It made me want to visit Florida and Disney badly! We had great fun afterwards pointing out what the little people in our head where doing!

I also started watching this week a show called Last Man on Earth.

It shows on Fox in the States and Dave in the UK, it is fairly enjoyable, I have only watched the first two episodes but so far so good! The premise seems to be a virus has wiped out the population leaving the guy above as the last man standing till he meet the last woman standing and they bicker like cat and dog.

Have a great week whatever you are doing and happy reading!

Quite a few reviews coming up including...

I have only got my first Funko Pop last week but I saw they are having the whole cast of Friends in their collection and you know what? I want!!!

I have received physical and e-copies of some fab books this week, thank you to all the publishers for sending them! Also some of them are my own purchases, the pics link to Goodreads for you to find out more!

BOUGHT FROM AMAZON

KINDLE FREEBIES

BOOK DELIGHTS FROM NETGALLEY

Let me know if you have read any of them!

Happy Sunday!

  5. I bet you are not the only mother thinking that at the moment! I have heard so many great things about Inside Out and I can't wait to sit down and watch it myself when it comes out on dvd later in the year. You've got some great new books and the one I really want to know more about is Thicken Than Blood, I love the name and the cover. I also love the cover of the book that you are on a blog tour for, it screams glamour and I'm intrigued!

We are having a heated discussion about which movie to see today - Inside Out or Minions... I want to see both, but I thinkI'm in the mood for Inside Out :)

And yes, I think it can get stressful with kids around all the time but at least they will be back to school soon! I have seen Inside Out and did find it pretty nice - I liked how they made the mind work and all :)
