The Sunday Post #28 - 29th November 2015

sunday post, book blog, blogger, weekly review

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I'm gonna recap my week and give you an idea of what I have coming up plus anything else newsworthy!

So today I turn 37, I am freaking old but I still feel like I am 17 and today also marks the end of my giveaway (see below) which ends at midnight on the 29th! I will announce the winner (hopefully) on Monday!

First of all I must apologise if you have commented and I haven't replied back, time has got away from me this week so I am sorry I am trying to catch up!

So it has been a quick week, in Scotland the weather is basically blah or let me use the pics to show you....

The weather hasn't stopped me shopping and today I visited the local shops to buy me some stuff but before I did that I have coffee and cake with a good friend who bought me this awesome gift.

Now Harry Potter was bought with money my parents gave me but my great friend Velcro bought me the cutest robot on the planet - Danbo who also goes by the name I have christened him Boxy, original I know.

He is great and his eyes light up too, seriously I love him and there are instagram photos in their thousands featuring other Danbo robots in all their glory!  He is made up with amazon.co.jp boxes and comes in a traditional brown amazon box covered with Japanese writing which I love.

I hope you all have a good Sunday and OMG it is December on Tuesday where the heck has the year gone?

  7. I couldn't stop laughing at that motorway sign! Only in Scotland! I spent last week in the Lake District and it was so cold but dry and not windy so that let me do some sightseeing and photos! Then I came back to a freezing cold house, high winds and rain coming down in sheets! Brrr! Makes me want to go back south!

  10. Happy birthday, and I had to laugh at how you declared that you are "old." I just had a birthday, and let me tell you...my thirties are way back in my rear view mirror, but I don't feel old. Except for the aches and pains occasionally...LOL.

The robots are adorable....and I am curious about the book Feed. I remember first seeing it and wondering about it.

Enjoy...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  13. Happy birthday! I'm 47 and still feel 17. Or maybe 20? I still remember being about 35 and - after years of working overseas and other stuff - announcing to my co-workers that I finally felt like I was ready to start dating. As if I was just 15. In all honesty I suspect the eating disorders I suffered for a decade or two stunted that part of my world, but it could also just be that I'm a slow learner! ;-)

LOVE the 'blowy as fuck' meme!
