The Sunday Post #62 - 23rd July 2017

Welcome to my Sunday Post, a weekly meme hosted by Kimberley over at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer . Join me as I ramble about my week in and out of the blogosphere.

Not a lot to report I'm afraid.  Work has been busy but on the plus side at the end of the week I have a weeks holiday coming up which I can't wait for.

I have been trying to keep at my running but the update to Zombies Run app has put the stoppers on that with its bugs that have stopped me in my tracks.  Hopefully that'll be sorted soon as I am really enjoying going for my runs.

Did we all enjoy Game of Thrones? It was very enjoyable and that start was brilliant, Go Arya!!

Have a great week everyone!

  2. I tried out Zombies Run but I sort of lost interest. I now run with a couch to 10k app and use an app called RockMyRun that has *awesome* playlists. The music on my phone was getting monotonous and I started paying less attention to it and more on the fact that I felt like I was dying while I was running. I discovered RockMyRun and it has been the best. There are hundreds of playlists available of any kind of music you can think of and they all transition seamlessly from one song to the next. I see you're Scottish so I'm not sure if it's available to you but it's definitely worth checking out! Hope you enjoy all your new books!

    1. Rock my Run sounds great, I've got ZR5K working again so I'm going to stick with it! Music definitely makes a huge difference though, it spurs you on. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Oh hey, you got Artemis! I'm curious about that one, but sadly, I was turned down for the copy. Oh well! And you got a Hugh Howey title! That's great.

  5. I initially started running Zombie Run but then a friend showed me Couch to 5K (which also has a zombie) so maybe you can use that until the app's bug is fixed? Also, I look forward to your review on the Hugh Howey book! I read one book, Half Way Home, and wasn't sure how I felt about it but I want to give him another try. Anyway, have a good week! :D

  7. Slow weeks are good sometimes.
We just started Game of Thrones, so I am glad to hear you are enjoying the new season. You got some good looking books this week. None of those books are familiar to me so now I am off to check them all out.
    Have a great week!
